Romans 9:28
For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

From this passage, we learn that God will cut short the whole of redemption with righteousness. Righteousness can cut things short.

I once knew a man who was very addicted to alcohol; he damaged his kidney and eventually died. Sometimes, we allow harmful things to linger long in our lives leading to increased damage and problems.

I also knew a married couple who did not speak to each other for well over twenty years because of their inability to resolve a particular problem.
Some people find it difficult to hold on to money because of their profligate lifestyle.

One way to cut short persistent problems is to use the key of righteousness.
For example, righteousness could have cut short each of the problems I wrote about. The man with the kidney problem could have lived longer if he had decided to stop drinking. The marital problem could have been resolved in a day if the couple had decided to forgive each other.

Most problems persist because of a lack of righteousness. Cut short the persistent problems in your life by leading a righteous life employing the key of righteousness.
