Some people think the Word of God is weak because they don’t see immediate results when they obey it. Due to this, they tend to despise and disregard it.
For you to put your faith and trust in the Word, you must understand how it works.
Mark 4:26-27
“And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.”
There are a few things I want you to notice concerning this verse.
1. The principles of the Kingdom of Heaven are different from the principles of the world. “So is the kingdom of God.” In other words, it works differently.
2. The word of God has to be planted in the soil of our life, like how a natural seed is planted. It is like how “a man casts seed into the ground.” It has to be planted or obeyed in faith.
3. It takes time for a natural seed to germinate and grow. The Word is like that; when you apply it, you must give it time.
4. You must sow it in faith; “He knoweth not how.” We cannot fully understand or have control over the germination process, but it occurs when we sow in faith.
Trust in the Word and obey it, and your eyes will behold the power and glory of God!
