One day, my little daughter, Chloe asked me if she could watch television. I told her she could do so in two hours. She came back after two minutes and told me the time was up. Obviously, her measurement of time was different from mine. There are different ways of measuring time, and God has His own chronological system.
Psalms 90:4
“For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.”
This means in God’s calendar, yesterday which is made up of 24 hours is equal to a thousand years. Again, in God’s calendar, a watch which represented 3 hours in the ancient times was equal to a thousand years. This works out to be 333 years approximately to an hour.
Using this particular time scale, it means a second on God’s wrist watch is approximately close to two years. Are you believing God for healing, a job, marriage or breakthrough? Like little children, when we ask God for answered prayer and blessings, we run back only after two minutes to find out if time is up.
Let us patiently wait for God’s promises, because only 5 seconds(10 years) may have elapsed on God’s wristwatch!
