Double For My Trouble!

Dear Prophet, I just want to thank and praise God for using you mightily as an instrument of blessing in my life.  For 9 months, I was jobless and without any financial stability. This often made me frustrated and depressed. I also felt trapped in life, but still had faith that God would somehow come through for me. I came for a Tuesday service in the first week of April, and during the service, you had a word of knowledge and said, “If you feel trapped in life, and nothing seems to be moving on for you come forward for prayer.” I came forward and you prayed for me. Exactly 2 weeks after the prayer, I got a call from a company I had applied to in January. They informed me that I had been selected for a job interview. I was shocked because so many months had passed. I went for the interview all the same and by the grace of God, out of all the people interviewed,I was the only male candidate offered the job.  Since I started working, the Lord has given me favour before my boss, and the salary is twice the pay of my former job. Just want to thank God for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. Indeed, HE has given me double for my trouble....

Is There Anything Too Hard For God?

Dear Kakra,  Praise be to the living God for He is good! A year ago, I wrote to you to help me in prayer regarding marriage and business. You replied that you had prayed for me. This was in July 2015. In September 2015, I was able to set up my business. Then in December the same year, I met my spouse and got married in February, 2016.  It didn’t end there – as I write to you now, I live with my husband in Havana, Cuba, where he works. He is here on a diplomatic mission. This is what our God can do. He can lift you from nowhere and place you where he has destined you to be. Is there anything too hard for Him?  We give God all the...

How To  Respond To A Rumor!

A rumor is a  story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to fact. There are many people who take decisions based on a rumor. You can marry, vote or invest based on hearsay propaganda adverts or what people are saying.  You  maynot like someone based on a rumor. You can even conclude a bad business is good based on it. You mayassume someone is good when the person is bad. Decisions based on rumors are flawed. What is the biblical response to a rumor? Deuteronomy 17:4,6. “And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel: ….At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.” Moses gave clear instructions on how to handle a rumor of idolatry against a person. Let’s examine it and glean some principles. 1. Don’t draw hasty conclusions, “enquire” or investigate the rumor. 2. Ask for the hardcore facts not hearsay  “the thing is certain”. Statistics data and figures come in here. 3. Crosscheck your information from appropriate sources “witnesses”  4. Now you are ready to make a good decision. Visa Granted!

Hello Kakra, I wrote to you to pray for me for entry clearance to join my husband in UK. I had been refused several times and frustration was setting in. You replied that you had prayed for me.  Today, I testify of the goodness of the lord. I have been granted the visa in the name of Jesus. If there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer. May His name be...

The Father Is With Me!

John 16:32 “Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.” Have you ever felt alone? The interesting thing about life is it can get lonelier as it progresses. You can be married and lonely, or in the midst of many people, and still feel lonely.  When all is well with you, you will have many people around you claiming to be friends and loved ones. However, when disaster strikes; many of them will vanish.  Jesus was surrounded by multitudes, who even wanted to make Him king. As long as He was turning water into wine, healing the sick and feeding them, He was their best friend. The minute He was arrested; all His disciples abandoned Him.  In the midst of these, He was still upbeat in His trying period, because He knew that the father was with Him. God can be so real to you, that in your trying moments, you will still feel you are not alone. It is time to cultivate a good relationship with God, because you never know when circumstances will cause people to abandon you.  May God be with you! Kakra...
