Air Power Ministry’s journey began with a divine encounter in 2004. In a vision, the founder ; Kakra Baiden saw himself evangelizing and bringing souls to Christ. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared, stopping him and, with great urgency, led him to a towering communications mast. The angel instructed him, “From today, you are not to witness to people one-on-one. Instead, sit here and broadcast the word of God .”
From that moment, it was clear to Kakra that his calling was to minister through the airwaves. Despite having no initial funds, God provided miraculously. The very next day, Kakra received a call from a stranger who said, “You don’t know me, but the Lord has instructed me to pay for your radio broadcast for one year.” Soon after, another company stepped in to sponsor an additional radio broadcast.
With these divine provisions, Kakra quickly secured contracts with two radio stations, both fully funded. The ministry grew rapidly, establishing a firm presence on radio . Now, over two decades later, Air Power Ministry has expanded to reach more than 60 nations, on radio and TV continuing to share the message of God’s love and power with the world.
I want to share a powerful vision I had a while back with you. In the vision, I was witnessing and bringing people to church. As I continued, an angel of the lord appeared to me and told me to stop. Looking very angry, he took me by the hand and showed me a tall mast, placed me on its top and said, “From today, you are not supposed to call people and witness to them. Sit here and broadcast from here.”Immediately, I knew I was supposed to minister on radio. At this point, financing it became a major concern. One night I received a phone call from a strange number. “I have been listening to your teaching” the voice said. “You may not know me because I am not from your church. The Lord told me as I was listening to your message to look for your number and call you. I want to pay for you to be on radio for a year,” he concluded. As if that was not enough, shortly after that, a company came along to sponsor another radio broadcast. Within a short time, I had signed a contract with two radio stations and had paid for it. Money was no longer the problem. All this happened because of a vision. This is how the radio ministry was birthed.
