Numbers 14:9 reads “Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.”
One of the things that make us rebel against God is fear. Moses said to Israel, “Rebel not, don’t fear the people.”
When I was an unbeliever the fear of being miserable if I gave my life to Christ made me rebel against God. The fear of being exploited by their husbands has made many wives rebel against the commandment, “the husband is the head of the wife.” The fear of being maltreated has left some who are called by the Lord into full-time ministry sitting on the bench.
Fear is a tool the devil uses to make people rebel against God. Some people have been compelled to lose their virginity because of the fear of losing a relationship.
It is time to take a stand against fear and obey the Lord’s commands. If you do, the word of God will help you to overcome that very thing. It will be “bread for you.” (Easy)
Do not give in to rebellion. Live for God and overcome your fears!
